PLANS for 18 new houses and bungalows at Allithwaite, near Grange-over-Sands, have been lodged with South Lakeland District Council.
The developer, Applethwaite Ltd of Bamber Bridge, wants to build on open grassland off Jack Hill, on the village's southern boundary, on a plot allocated for housing in the local plan.
The application comprises six two-bedroom homes, four three-bed and eight four-bed properties.
