A YOUNG man was rescued after he had injured himself after a fall at a disused quarry in Kentmere yesterday.
The Kendal Mountain Rescue Team was called by Cumbria Police, who had been informed that a young man had taken a fall and received injuries.

On the way in to the quarry the first team vehicle was stopped by the occupants of a car which had the casualty inside.
The man was treated by the rescue team and transferred to an ambulance.
Kendal Mountain Rescue Team said on their Facebook page that it has been busy for rescue teams across the lakes due to slippery weather.
The team was called out at 2.40pm on January 1.
