FIRE and rescue crews were called to a road traffic collision in Broughton-in-Furness which saw a van crash into a tree.
The incident, which took place around 6.23 on Monday evening (January 23), saw the van leave the road on the A595 before it crashed.

The driver, who was in his late 40s, was trapped within the vehicle and was extricated by firefighters using stabilization and cutting equipment.
He suffered leg injuries not thought to be life threatening and was taken to Furness General Hospital at Barrow.
Three emergency vehicles attended, from Millom, Broughton and Ulverston, along with two managers.
Cumbria Police and North West Ambulance Service also attended the scene.
