PASSERSBY helped to restart a man's heart after he suffered a cardiac arrest in Keswick yesterday at around 3.50pm.
The man, in his 50s, had a cardiac arrest while walking down the street, and a public defibrillator was used to restart his heart.

The man was then airlifted to Carlisle’s Cumberland Infirmary in a critical condition.
The multi-agency response included Great North Air Ambulance Service, an immediate care doctor, North West Ambulance Service, off-duty paramedics, mountain rescue team members and passersby.
