Toddler airlifted to hospital after head injury
A TODDLER was airlifted to hospital after suffering a head injury in a fall on Saturday morning at Appleby.
The Great North Air Ambulance team assessed and treated the 18-month-old boy, who was then flown to Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.

The boy arrived in hospital in a stable condition, and it was later found that he had only sustained minor injuries.
