Police in Kendal are concerned about reports of sheep worrying in the local area.

As well as dogs attacking livestock, worrying also includes dogs chasing livestock, which can cause injury and suffering.

This is of particular concern during lambing season, as it can cause pregnant ewes to abort their lambs.
