This photograph of at Chapel Stile, heading for the Langdale Valley, was taken in July 2016 by Westmorland Gazette reader Sue Barlow.
"Although I live in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire, I also spend half my week in the Lakes, being based just outside Kendal," said Sue.
"I have come to call it the home where my heart is. I have always enjoyed photography but, as retired and after investing in a new camera, I never go anywhere without my camera."
