A 60-mile, non-competive cycling challenge will pass through the towns and villages of Eden on Sunday.
The Eden Valley Epic will start from Penrith Leisure Centre between 8am and 10.30am and will take riders towards Orton before looping north to Appleby. After a lunch stop the cyclists will return to Penrith via Dufton, Milburn and Langwathby.
A maximum of 20 riders will start every two minutes. The cost of entering the Eden Valley Epic is £25 and further information and can be found on the Epic Events website www.epicevents.co.uk/. Marc Laithwaite of Epic Events said: “Places are limited to around 800 so entry is on a first come, first served basis.”
The event is sponsored by Russell & Russell Solicitors.
