Chimney fire in Shap
FIREFIGHTERS attended a chimney fire in Shap yesterday evening (March 28).
The team were called at 7.09pm and a hose reel jet, adaptor and chimney rods were used to put out the fire.
Hot ash was removed from the hearth and a thermal imaging camera was used to monitor the temperature in the affected area.
