My wife and I parked at Elterwater and walked the popular path to Skelwith Bridge. Within 20 minutes we had picked up 48 dog poo bags left on walls, on the ground and hung in trees.
When there has been so much publicity about picking it up and carrying it away you do wonder whether some of the dogs you see are brighter than their owners.
This was on part of a route we were checking to ensure it is fully accessible and nice and litter free for Easter.
Please try and keep it tidy.
