The woman was stuck up to her knees
A WOMAN stuck knee deep in mud was rescued last night (April 29).
The woman was stuck at Half Moon Bay in Heysham.
Morecambe Lifeboat launched its hovercraft and successfully extracted the casualty. She was then brought to shore to meet the Morecambe Coastguard Rescue Team.
The coastguard team escorted her to the awaiting ambulance for checks.
