A COMMUNITY garden created from waste ground on Kendal's Fellside is to be named at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday (June 17).
The Fellside and Greenside Forum says it wants to thank the residents and volunteers who worked hard to transform the plot at Rosemary Lane, by having "a bit of a do".

The event, from 2pm to 4pm, is to feature music, games and refreshments.
