MORE TOP STORIES:

What was your first job? I worked as a waitress and cooking assistant at Inglesport Cafe in Ingleton when I was 14. I can still cook a pretty mean cooked breakfast!

What personal skills do you need in your current role? We want the Christmas Cabin to look spectacular, with a mix of traditional, unusual and quirky items so all my design skills will come into play to transform the cabin into a winter wonderland for all the family.

What is your best business memory? Every year I get to construct our Christmas displays at Country Harvest and I love turning a few items and decorations into a magical experience when people walk through the doors. It’s really creative and rewarding, and this year I’ve even been to Holland to source new products.

What is your worst business memory? My mum, sister and I set up a cake shop called Frumenty and Fluffin which we loved and we were so sad when we had to close it after eight years. I love working in family businesses and Country Harvest has that same friendly, supportive atmosphere.
