GOOD Life Lake District Cottages launched its new Windermere office with an 'alternative' General Election.
The company opened its new Beech Street location with a Cottage party.
Natalie Barker, Good Life Lake District Cottages operations manager, said: “We are delighted to formally open a new office in Windermere. Our launch party on June 8 was just a bit of fun and gave people a break from politics.
“We thought we’d celebrate cottages not constituencies. It was good fun and a nice way to introduce ourselves to our neighbours in Windermere.”
Guests included Mayor of Windermere Councillor Leith Hallatsch, owners of cottages on the Good Life Lake District Cottages books, and local business owners.
Good Life Lake District Cottages was launched in 2008. and the company has another office in Elterwater.
Natalie added: “It was great to see the people of Windermere come to support us on the launch of our new office. We look forward to making our second office a great success.”
