THIS weekend will see meats smoked at Kendal's 19th century smokehouse for the first time since World War Two.
The historic property, at Smokehouse Yard off Stricklandgate, has been taken over by Robin Perris, who hails from a family of Texan BBQ experts.
This Saturday (July 15) the smokehouse is to host a pop-up restaurant from 12pm-9pm, serving oak-smoked Cumbrian meats. For more, visit www.pappystexasbarbeque.co.uk
