Police are investigating the criminal damage to a red Fiat Panda, parked at the side of the road near the church, on Wanfell Road, Ambleside.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 2017 12, between 1pm and 3pm.
The vehicle had a rear passenger window smashed.
Police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact PC 2342 Tracey on 101, email 101@cumbria.police.uk, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
