A DEVELOPER has given the first glimpse of the show home at a luxury collection of new homes in Ulverston.

The Beeches, a private, gated development of eight executive dwellings is located at the town's beautiful Ford Park. The properties are being developed by Cheshire-based Lancet Homes, with Cumbrian home builders Modlar Homes.

Carolyn Walsh, group sales manager at Lancet, described The Beeches as "highly anticipated" and said the homes had been "uniquely created with design details which reflect the character and heritage of the local area".

Carolyn said: "The development is so very sympathetic to the area, you really do have to see it to believe it. These are traditionally built homes of excellent quality - plus being surrounded by the nine acres that is Ford Park, makes them so unique.”

The Beeches is to offer semi and detached homes with three and five bedrooms, integral garages, open-plan layouts, generously sized bedrooms and en-suite shower rooms. Features are to include gas central heating, woodburning stoves, traditional hardwood windows and turfed back gardens.

Carolyn added: "For families and couples alike, it’s also comforting to know that The Beeches has all the day-to-day amenities located nearby and has easy access to the motorway and railway network for commuters.”

Lancet Homes is planning to host an official family-themed open day in early September, following on from the pre-launch session held last Saturday.
