MEMBERS of the public have been invited to take a closer look at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust's (UHMBT) services and the improvements made by staff, at this year’s Annual Members’ Meeting.

The event, open to all of the Foundation Trust Members and members of the public, will take place on September 21, 2017, between 10.30am-2:10pm, at The Forum, Barrow-in-Furness.

Members of the public are invited to arrive for 10.30am on the day, with the formal meeting starting at 10.45am.

There will be a film showcasing the Trust’s highlights from over the past year and a question and answer session.

The Trust’s Annual Accounts and Report of External Auditors will also be presented, with copies available for attendees.

Pearse Butler, chairman at UHMBT, said: “Our Annual Members’ Meeting is always one of the highlights of the year for me as it is a great opportunity for us to talk directly to our members and the public about what we have been doing to improve services over the last year, and what we are planning in the year to come."

There will also be a market place which gives people the chance to talk to staff about their service.
