Casualty rescued from water in Coniston
A CASUALTY was rescued from Coniston Water on Friday (September 1).
Three fire engines from Ulverston and Kendal were called at 5.33pm after a report of a person in the water.
Fire service swift water technicians attended and assisted mountain rescue personnel in rescuing one casualty using the fire rescue boat.
The casualty was passed to the care of paramedics and transported to hospital by ambulance.
