PLANS to change an empty Kirkby Lonsdale shop into a restaurant met with approval from South Lakeland District Council.
Jonathan Harrison, of Low Bentham, told planners he aimed to "complement" the town's existing businesses by using local meat and bakery suppliers at the 18th century premises, at Market Street.
