TALENTED Kendal College student Tilly Henry's award winning conceptual environmental film, Plastic on the Menu, is showing in the entrance foyer of Kendal's Brewery Arts Centre. Tilly won the Brewery's Emerging Artist prize at the Kendal College summer exhibition and is working locally, incorporating digital and lens-based media to pursue a career in writing, activism and film.
Elsewhere at Kendal's Abbot Hall Art Gallery is the work of another gifted KC art student Tiana McInerney. Tiana's conceptual textile piece won this year’s prestigious Romney Art Prize during the KC summer exhibition at the college’s newly opened Wildman Street Gallery and is on show at Abbot Hall alongside the 1960s Pop Art exhibition which runs until Saturday, October 7.
