Body found in River Kent
THE body found by police in the River Kent has been formally identified as Kendal man John Stephenson.
Police today confirmed the man's identity of the man, who was found dead on October 7.
The 36-year-old was found by a member of the public down from Romney Bridge, shortly after 5pm.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and the Coroner has been informed.
