This year's Grange Pumpkin Walk on Wednesday, October 25 and Thursday, October 26, was brilliant. It was the third year it's been held and the best yet!

The organiser is Tracy Hawthorn, who runs the Keg & Kitchen in Grange-over-Sands.

People carve pumpkins and Tracy and her team of volunteers line the promenade with them for two nights. This year there were 284 pumpkins including a few big displays and some amazing designs. It is a brilliant, family-friendly event that anyone can get involved in.

It is a free event but donations over two nights raised £840 towards refurbishing the playground at Yew Tree Playing Fields at Grange.

Various prizes were awarded, including spookiest, funniest and cutest pumpkin. The picture above is my three-year-old daughter Macey, with our prize-winning pumpkin, featuring Chase, her favourite character from Paw Patrol.
