South Lakeland Carers will continue their 25th anniversary celebrations with a gala dinner on Friday, November 24, at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal with VIP guest Tim Farron MP.

There will be a delicious three-course meal and music from The Seals. There’ll also be a raffle and auction with fantastic prizes donated by local businesses, including a weekend in a Jaguar F Pace donated by Kentdale Jaguar and week away in a VW T6 Jobl camper van from ES Hartley.

Money raised from the dinner will support the charity’s work with carers in South Lakeland aged from five to 98.

This year’s gala dinner is sponsored by Welbeing, one of the leading telecare companies in the UK. They work with Cumbria County Council to offer a telecare service to support people to live independently in their own home.

Telecare is based around a pendant worn around the neck or wrist. This provides access to a 24-hour monitoring service offering an instant response at the touch of a button from anywhere in your home or garden.

Tickets for the gala dinner cost £40 per head. To reserve some, telephone 01539 815970 or email admin@slcarers.org.uk.
