THE future of Giggleswick's Castleberg Hospital is to be discussed by Bentham Town Council on Monday (February 5).
The ten-bed in-patient ward, at Raines Road, has been closed since April 2017 due to issues with heating, power supply and drainage. The public have until February 27, 2018, to have their say on the hospital's future.
In May, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is expected to decide whether to repair the building or to transfer services to patients' homes or other nearby facilities.
An online survey can be found at bit.ly/careincraven
Bentham councillors are to agree their response to the consultation when they meet on Monday.
