PLANS to demolish a dormer bungalow at 86 Milnthorpe Road, Kendal, and replace it with a two-storey house have been approved by South Lakeland District Council.
Mr and Mrs S Selby are also proposing a detached annexe and triple garage for the site, behind the Stonecross Manor Hotel.
Planning officers described the new dwelling's design as "hotchpotch and bulky" but said public viewpoints were "limited".
