ACTION has been taken against more than 80 untaxed vehicles in South Lakeland and Furness as part of Operation Strong.
Over six days, 74 vehicles in Kendal, Ulverston, Windermere, Ambleside, Grange-over-Sands and Coniston were clamped and a further 14 issued with enforcement notices by the Driver Vehicle Licensing Association (DVLA).
The joint exercise involved officers from Cumbria Constabulary, South Lakeland District Council and the DVLA.
