AN ENTHUSIASTIC sledder has praised Kendal Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) after they came to his aid yesterday (February 28).
The volunteers were called at 12.25pm by the North West Ambulance Service to Grange-over-Sands near Huggs Lane.
Mr Fry had 'taken a tumble' and was suffering from a suspected dislocated shoulder.
He was able to walk down with assistance and was soon in the awaiting land ambulance.
Mr Fry wrote on Facebook: "I am that enthusiastic sledder, I just want to say thank you ever so much for your help today. The response time, skill and care was phenomenal and much appreciated."
