A FUNDRAISING gig by the band Northern Sky has raised more than £1,000 for Kendal Mountain Rescue Team.
More than 100 people attended the event at The Box Theatre, part of the Kendal College site, next to the town's museum, last Friday night.
The band played for free and the gig was jointly paid for and sponsored by Harrison Drury Solicitors and land and estate agents Armitstead Barnett.
Staff from Harrison Drury will in June take part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise cash for the mountain rescue team.
