A BENCH has been donated to Lindale Bowling Club in memory of two of the group's members who died earlier this year.
The club were delighted to accept the generous gift from the Best family and appreciated them coming from Bolton to spend the afternoon at Lindale.
The unveiling was made when the club held the Priory Trophy which was organised by Ian Sissons. The winners were Laraine Keating and Maggie Moseley, and runners up Ann Anderson and Julia Hill. A wonderful afternoon was enjoyed by all with a lovely mix of friends reunited, nostalgia and some very competitive bowling.
