Windermere Ferry is set to have reduced capacity this afternoon as filming for new ITV series Deep Water takes place.

Windermere Ferry has tweeted that this will continue until 4.30pm today as Kudos continues to film its new six-part drama set in the Lake District.

Filming has already been taking place in the Coniston area this week. The new series, which stars multi-award winning actresses Anna Friel, Sinead Keenan and Rosalind Eleazar, is set to be aired early in 2019.

Scenes have been filmed around the Bluebird Cafe on the shores of Coniston Water, as well as at Staveley and Bowness.
