AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a car was stolen among a number of items during a burglary.

Cumbria Police is investigating a reported burglary at a residential property in Greengate, Levens.

According to officers, the incident occurred overnight between the December 26 and 27.

Entry was forced to the property by breaking a window.

A Black Audi A1 sport was taken during the incident, as well as jewellery, cash and tools.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area, or anyone with CCTV (including doorbells or Hives).
