Council begins writing to people about receiving their £150 energy rebate
South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) has started writing to people who do not pay council tax by Direct Debate about receiving their £150 energy rebate.
People will be able to submit their details through a ‘secure’ online form.
An SLDC spokesman said: “We are now starting to write to people who do not pay their council tax by Direct Debit to invite them to provide their details through a secure online form so we can make payment.
“Letters will include your Council Tax reference number, which is needed to apply.”
