AN iconic Cumbrian bookshop will be celebrating the launch of a popular Lancashire fiction writer's latest novel.
The Book Lounge at 12 Main Street, Kirkby Lonsdale, will be hosting author Suzanne Snow on Friday, November 18, as she visits the store to mark the release of Snowfall Over Halesmere House, described as 'A festive uplifting romance set in the Lake District'.
It is the first book in a new series by Suzanne called Love in the Lakes, following the success of her Thorndale series of novels.
The doors open at 6 pm, and the event itself starts at 6.30 pm with a short talk and reading from the book , followed by a question and answer session and a book signing.
The event is free, but booking is required.
