Cumbria's biggest wildlife charity wants you to help celebrate Wildlife Week (31 May-8 June) by filming the wildlife in your back yard. Email your footage to mail@cumbriawildlifetrust.org.uk and you could see your movie live online! You just need to let them know your name and where you filmed your wildlife footage.

Wildlife Week is also your chance to get outside and see nature for yourself by going along to one of the events across our beautiful county (further details attached): Tuesday 3 June, 10.30am-12.30pm, Roudsea Wood and Mosses National Nature Reserve. Meet at Roudsea Wood visitors' car park, Haverthwaite.

Wednesday 4 June, 10.00am-4.00pm, Conservation work party at Drumburgh Moss National Nature Reserve, near Drumburgh village. Meet at Moss Cottage car park.

Wednesday 4 June, 6.00pm-8.00pm, A botanical walk at Beckermet. Meet at St Bridget's Church, Beckermet.

Wednesday 4 June, 7.00pm-9.00pm, Bewcastle roadsides, Meet at Bewcastle Church.

Saturday 7 June, 10.00am-3.00pm, Wildflowers of the coastal limestone. Meet at the fountain in Arnside.

Saturday 7 June, 1.45pm-5.00pm, A walk in Murthwaith Park. Meet at Loftus Hill car park at 1.45pm or a Rawthey Bridge at 2.00pm.

Sunday 8 June, 10.00am-3.00pm, Conservation work party at Next Ness Nature Reserve. Meet at the entrance gate of Next Ness Nature Reserve.

Sunday 8 June, 10.00am-4.00pm, The Birds and the Bees Garden Bonanza. At Plumgarths, Crook Road, Kendal.
