THE 2022 Bay Hospitals Charity 24-hour Christmas Auction is offering tickets to the Kendal Calling music festival. 

The auction is also offering a flying lesson and a meal for two at a Michelin Star restaurant as well.

Bids secure a chance to win an extra special Christmas gift while raising funds for Bay Hospitals Charity this December. 

Items on sale in the online auction include:

  • Virgin Experience ‘Land Away’ double flying lesson
  • Selection of tools
  • Botham’s of Whitby hamper
  • Two Kendal Calling tickets
  • Samsung 43in 4K TV
  • One night bed and breakfast at Castle Green Hotel, Kendal
  • Self-balancing electric scooter
  • Meal for two at Northcote Manor, near Blackburn
  • Personal fitness voucher
  • LG 43in smart 4K TV 

Bidding is open on the Bay Hospitals Charity Facebook page (facebook.com/bayhospitalscharity) from 9am on December 8 to 9am on December 9. 

Head of Charities & Fundraising Suzanne Lofthouse said: “We have received some fantastic donations of items to auction this Christmas and would like to say a huge thank you to our generous supporters. 

“The auction is a fantastic opportunity to get hold of an extra special present for a loved one this Christmas, while also helping us to support our amazing hospitals to deliver the best-possible care to UHMBT patients.” 

Donations of items for auction have come from Edmondson’s Electrical, North West Catering Engineers, Pettit Singleton Associates, Longhorn Hardware Supplies, Dewhurst Group, Kendal Calling, Castle Green Hotel, Door Care & Security Ltd, Vertical Lift Services North West, Central Power Services (Garstang), and Kendal personal trainer Sarah Brook.
