CUMBRIAN artists are set to showcase joint exhibition in a town centre theatre.
‘Three Ways in our Landscape’ is the exhibition created by Heather Cowie, Lynn Fotheringham and Jan Morley at The Heron Theatre, in Beetham
The exhibition brings together the three artists, with their three different styles of ‘moving paint around’ and three diverse expressions of their love of the British landscape.
A spokesperson for the event said: "Three women have stood in the landscape and each one has experienced it differently.
"In these paintings the artists have configured their own personal experiences of the environment - consequently the forms, colours, and feelings of and for the natural world emerge in three completely unique ways.
"You, the viewer, are invited to share the possibilities of the landscape by diving into the paintings and finding your own love and experience of the British countryside within them."
The exhibition will be hosted from May 4 to June 10 2023.
