THE case of a 40-year-old man accused of having a knife in a council car park has been sent to crown court.
Jonathan Hall, of The Heights, Staveley, was allegedly in possession of a kitchen knife in the Kendal County Council car park on June 27, 2022.
Hall also stands accused of harrasment without violence to a woman between August 31, 2022 and March 31, 2023 in Kendal and stalking involving fear of violence between August 13, 2021 and June 25, 2022 also in Kendal involving another woman.
The defendant, who is in custody, will next appear at Carlisle Crown Court on May 22 to enter a plea and for a trial preparation hearing.
