A SEDBERGH man stands accused of assaulting a woman.
Michael Leddy, of Castlehaw, is alleged to have assaulted the victim at the Sedbergh People's Hall on October 29 2022.
The 60-year-old was granted conditional bail by magistrates when he appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates' Court. He must not contact the victim or another woman.
His case was sent to Carlisle Crown Court for a hearing on June 5.
