DRIVERS are being warned ahead of a road closure.
A section of the C5097 near Arnside will be closed while works for rail purposes are carried out.
Work is anticipated to start on September 16 and take up to two days to complete.
The road will be closed between 11.40pm and 8am.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes can be found via the unrestricted sections of Black Dyke Road, Briery Bank, Silverdale Road, Cove Road, Park Road, Ford Lane, Cold Well Lane and Black Dyke Road.
