A local animal shelter is hoping the music of Taylor Swift and Madonna will encourage people to dig deep into their pockets.
Cumbria Hen Rescue is hosting an evening of tribute acts on December 16 at the Lounge Cloud 9 in Barrow.
The five acts will include performances of the two iconic singers, along with the Pet Shop Boys and Erasure.
Ann-Marie White, a member of the rescue team, said: "We are offering a discount for NHS and CRE companies as we do this for all our events.
"Madonna will be joining us for the last time after appearing for three years on the run."
