CARLISLE rock band Hardwicke Circus will perform at The Old Laundry Theatre in Bowness on Friday, December 1.

The billing states that the band 'are fast building a reputation to emerge from the UK in recent years' and that they have played 'countless' live shows.

The band's sound is compared to the E Street Band, The Doors and Dexy's Midnight Runners.

The band played over 150 gigs in 2022, and they have supported Bob Dylan and Neil Young in Hyde Park, Madness, Alabama 3, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, Bob Geldof's Boomtown Rats and The Blockheads.

They have also performed at the Isle of Wight Festival, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and headlined the Yam Riot Stage at Kendal Calling. Sir Paul McCartney put in a request for them to play there.

Tickets are £10, and the gig starts at 7.30pm and ends at 10pm.
