Free half term activities will be made available to families in Ulverston and Kendal whilst schools close.
The scheme has been organised by South Lakeland Child and Family Support Service in the aim of helping parents who may be struggling with the Cost of Living Crisis.
The craft and messy play areas will first appear at Ulverston Children's Centre on Tuesday, October 24, and will run between 10:00am and 11:30am.
Kendal West Children's Centre will play host to the same sessions the day after, operating between 1:30pm and 3:00pm.
There are limited places so people are advised to book in advance, which can be done by emailing joan.hanson@actionforchildren.org.uk or by calling 07725782198.
