A pub in Kirkby Lonsdale experienced an 'amazing turn out' for the first session of their new running club.
The Royal Barn on New Road have organised 'Monumental Movers', which encourages locals to stay fit by offering them a pint at the end of the route.
The organisers were joined by 18 keen runners for the first session over the weekend, which saw them cover 5km before heading back to the pub for a well deserved drink.
They are looking for people of all ages and abilities to get involved, with the idea being that it is not strictly a race.
The team thanked the community for the initial support and added that they were looking forward to the next run.
