Residents will get to explore their local towns like never before this Christmas with a series of festive trails.
The scheme has been organised by the Lakeland Orienteering Club and runs from December 16 until January 3.
Three map trails have been created to provide some seasonal fun during the school holidays, exploring Kendal, Windermere and Ulverston.
By following the maps through the towns, families will be tasked with finding certain Christmas characters in local shop windows.
These will include reindeers, elves and a whole host of Christmas creatures to entertain the kids.
You can find the map, trails and answer sheets from the club's website.
