Cumbrian Garden Centre Beetham Nurseries is celebrating the New Year with the return of its popular Orchid Day event.
The centre, with the specialist help of Burnham Nurseries, will celebrate the plant on January 13.
Burnham Nurseries' 70 years of knowledge and expertise, plus an abundance of orchids, will be gracing Beetham Nurseries for customers' delight.
The event's highlight is a free talk by Sara Rittershausen, from Burnham Nurseries, swelling on 'The Wonderful World of Orchids'.
Aspiring gardeners and orchid enthusiasts will be enlightened about the range of orchid varieties and can seek detailed knowledge from the expert team, available throughout the day.
Moreover, a complimentary Repotting Clinic is open from 9am until 5pm for improving attendees' orchid-care skills.
Likewise, tool-sharpening services offered by KingSharp, operational from a fully fitted van, is also available.
Prices for the service start from £2.
On this horticultural day, food lovers aren't left behind.
The Garden Café and The Wood Fired Kitchen will be serving up breakfasts, brunch, lunch and tasty bites, besides home-baked cakes and hot drinks.
