A woman was arrested at Oxenholme train station after she sprayed perfume into the eyes of a train guard.
The passenger was travelling on the Avanti train service when it became apparent she was drunk.
The train manager had tried to deal with the woman alone however the incident began to escalate.
An Amulet safeguarding officer came to assist the train manager which resulted in the drunk passenger spraying perfume in the security guard's eyes.
After the train reached Oxenholme, the woman was subsequently arrested by British Transport Police Lancashire.
She has now been bailed whilst inquiries are carried out.
