A hockey club in Kirkby Stephen has joined forces with a nearby business in a new sponsorship deal.
The club revealed on Wednesday that J.S Winder, a construction company found on St. Luke's Road, had committed to sponsoring the first team's away kit.
Anthea Rose Jane, a member of Kirkby Stephen Hockey Club, said: "Jason has been so generous to our community, as well as supporting our hockey club.
"We really appreciate the support of local businesses."
The business, which specialises in building, roofing, and tool and plant hire, has been operating in Kirkby Stephen for over 20 years, serving the entirety of the north west.
The news comes on the back of a fairly successful weekend for the club's first team, which saw them earn a 3-0 victory against Lancaster and a 1-1 draw against Timperley.
