A PENSIONER is said to have been in charge of a sheep dog that caused injury to another whilst dangerously out of control.
Brian Rowand, 79, from Great Langdale, is allegedly the owner of a brown and white sheep dog called ‘Brit’, who injured a member of the public near Ambleside.
The injury to the victim is said to have taken place on August 13 last year.
He will appear at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (April 3) to give an indication of plea to the offence.
