CUMBRIA Police have arrested a man following multiple reports from the public of a car driving dangerously in the Bowness-on-Windermere area on Sunday night (April 7).
A 20-year-old man from Rochdale was arrested on suspicion of:
- Driving a vehicle over the prescribed limit of alcohol
- Failure to stop at a road traffic collision
- Dangerous driving
- Aggravated taking of a vehicle without consent
- Possession of a controlled Class B drug
- Driving without insurance
He has since been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
